A special place sits at the base of Mount Lemmon in Oracle, Arizona. A
place filled with memories of children exploring their creation, making new friends and developing their talents each summer
while growing in their knowledge of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
This place is a wonderful place called Camp O’ Wood. This
camp is run by The Salvation Army Southwest Division and based out of Arizona. There were many things that I looked
forward to each time I went to camp. There were those special times at the camp fire pit, the road on the way to
camp, the beautiful chapel, the creek down the center of camp, and most of all the beautiful surroundings and the joy of seeing
nature.
